This light/fan looks really nice in our living room! It has a great industrial look. To turn both the light and the fan off and on, the remote is required. You cannot use the light switch to do it. The fan blades are kind of flimsy plastic, but the retractable feature is really cool and it is a very quiet fan.
This thing is SO COOL! I want to get it for every room. Everyone that comes over is so impressed with it. It is super sturdy, there's no noise, and with the amount of light bulbs, gives an awesome amount of light. The retractable blades is the coolest feature. This is an amazing fan for the price, great quality.
Surprisingly the fan puts out great airflow with these small blades compared to my last fan with larger blades. Remote is good and the light is Super bright which is what I wanted using the Edison recommended bulbs but someone could use different bulbs to have less brightness or choose a unit with a dimmer light switch that this does not have.
Fan is gorgeous-looks beautiful! Love the remote. It did take some thought to install, we were fortunate that our light box straddle the beam so we were able to get it to workout. If you haven't installed more than a standard ceiling fan you will probably needs some help, but it will be worth it. The sellers are very communicative and sends lots of instructions so that was helpful. Love this fan!
Question: Will this work with high ceilings?
There are two lengths of down rods 5” & 10“ which cannot be put together. If you need a longer one for your high ceiling, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to customize it. Thanks.
Question: Is this an outdoor fan?
The fan does not have a waterproof function. We advise you not to install it outdoors.
Question: Can i put it up without a rod?
No, the ceiling fan needs a rod because the ceiling fan and the ceiling need to keep a little distance to avoid the fan blades from scratching the ceiling.
Question: Can this only be controlled by using the remote? That is, if the remote fails, will I be able to control it without a functioning remote?
If you do not use the remote control, you can only turn on/off the lights. Without remote control, the fan cannot be rotated. If the remote control stops working during use, please contact us at email@example.com. Thanks.
Question: Is this compatible with a dimmer switch if dimmable bulbs are installed? Can it be used without the remote?
We are sorry that the industrial ceiling fan light is not compatible with a dimmer switch, it's not dimmable. And it can only control the lights without a remote, thanks.
Question: Can you mount on an angled ceiling?
Yes, the maximum tilt is 22 degrees for the ceiling.
Question: Can one remote be used for two of the same fan?
One remote control can only be used for one fan.
Question: It comes with light bulbs?
No it doesn’t.
Question: How bright are these lights?
There are 5 E26 bulbs(maximum 60W) of the fan light. It is bright enough for the normal room or you can add another light source to strengthen the light.
Question: Is it every part is metal except the fan blades and bulbs?
Most of it, metal lamp cage, motor housing, connecting bar, and installation industrial ceiling fan base. The light bulbs are not included, fan blades are acrylic material. Equipped with the copper motor which is more durable and powerful.
Question: Does this product suitable for any other bulbs?
5 x E26 LED or incandescent bulbs can be used and we recommend using Edison bulbs to match the industrial style perfectly. Not only can show vintage style, but also more convenient to replace the bulb in the future, without taking off the cage lampshade
Question: Is it quiet?
We use the inverter built-in motor, which is strong and whispers. Very suitable for light sleepers.
Question: Would the 36 inch be large enough for a 9X13 room?
36 Inch ceiling fan light is recommended to be placed in the space of 74-144 sq ft. Thanks.
Question: How do you program the remote? The light is stuck on and the fan is not responding to the remote?
Here is a quick way to check the fandelier:
1. Turn off the wall switch for about 1 minute to run out the power in the fandelier, and get the remote ready;
2. Then turn on the switch again. The lights will be on with a short double beep sound. (Per your reply, your fandelier works in this step.)
3. Long press the “SET UP” key within 5 seconds once the light is on. Signal will be matched with the light blinking for one time.
4. Then try to control the fan with the remote, see if the fan works accordingly.
Question: Could this fan be used in a bathroom? I have a walk-in shower minimally 10 feet away with an exhaust fan.
This fan is not suitable for a bathroom because of no waterproof function.
Question: States e27 bulbs in the description. Would e26 work just as well?
Yes the two bulbs are interchangeable.

Sorry, the blades can not be changed to a bigger size.thanks.
Question: Can I turn off the fan and still have the light on?
Yes! When turned off, the blades are put inside and become "invisible", totally a beautiful pendant light.

This tone indicates that the ceiling fan has received your instructions. The current remote components cannot turn off the beep.
Question: In my apartment, i don't have a ceiling outlet for fan connection can the fan be mounted onto the ceiling like a swag light?
We recommend that the fandelier is installed on a ceiling or wooden beam with a load-bearing structure.
Question: Can the fan change rotation?
Question: Can it be installed where I now have a recessed downlight?
Yes, You will need to install an anchor to secure fan. You can use the same wiring.
