This chandelier is beautiful, was excellently packaged, and a good buy for the money. It took several hours to secure the crystals on the frame. Many extra crystals as well as wire hooks are included. (The list of materials lists half the amount of wire pins actually needed but more than twice what is listed were actually included) The crystals are meant to be secured at the top and the bottom. An electrician told me to not put the crystals on until the frame was installed, but that would have been a big mistake on this style chandelier. Follow the instructions and put the crystals on each piece first. Otherwise it will be very difficult to install the crystals on the inner part of the chandelier. You may want to leave the bottom of the crystals on the outside portion of the light unsecured near where the bulbs are to make it easier to fit your hand between the two rows when installing and when putting light bulbs in place. Two professional electricians installed mine and having two people makes it much easier. We love the look and the brown- toned metal frame is a nice color for our purposes. You need 40 watt incandescent bulbs or you can use LEDs for a brighter look. We only used a small amount of the included chain. This fixture can also be flush mounted.
